We now have a custom server up on Tribes Ascend. You will find her on the North American West Region. She is called [RMBL]LivingDeadGirl. We brought her to life this past weekend, and spent several hours testing the pings on N America-west, N American-east, and N America-central locations. We finally settled on west coast, although I must say I was tempted to opt for the central site with a high ping of 15 and lows around 7. Although the west site generally yields the highest latency, for me that is, it seems that I am unique, most of the rumble members who helped kick her alive reported the mid 30's to 40's on the west.
Admin functions are severely crippled at present, not really the topic I wanted to discuss, so will table that for now.
The one pressing issue at this time is the map rotation. I would have liked to skip this and say wth, run em all, but that's not an option. Leave it to HIREZ to screw the pooch and only give us 8 slots for 12 maps. So....which to pitch? They are, in no particular order:
[glow=red,2,300] Arx Novena Crossfire Drydock Katabatic Raindance Sunstar Tartarus Temple Ruins Stonehenge Permafrost Dangerous Crossing Temple Ruins[/glow]
In the true spirit of democratic bureaucracy, i will now start the most amazingly complicated poll in a new thread for all to participate.

temple ruins is in that list two times.
temple has never been my favorite map but after hirez screwed with it I find it even less fun. stonehenge and permafrost are fun to play on but they feel less for cooperative (team) play and more for dicking around with friends.
